MPM System Capability

MPM Proprietary Billing Software
Rather than using off the shelf systems that are inflexible, expensive to change, and quickly obsolete, MPM has developed in-house, sophisticated, proprietary software that is tailored to meet the needs of our clients. It resides on our Hewlett-Packard 9000 PA-Risc systems and provides line item payment to charge posting, a single comprehensive bill per patient or family guarantor, and impressive storage and warehousing capabilities. MPM has developed flexible report writing capabilities that:

• Drill down to individual carriers/companies showing age of accounts; this allows
  for faster, tighter controls of follow-up on carriers who routinely and deliberately
  slow or delay first claims
   
• Track expected payment by carrier for immediate flagging of improper payment
   
• Show work performed by date of service, regardless of date of system entry,
  and include payments, adjustments, and refunds
   
• Track denials by carrier for identification of routinely denied procedures
   

MPM Reimbursement Manager

Introduction
The MPM Reimbursement Manager software is a tool designed by our IT team to help our local offices determine whether insurance carriers are meeting their contracted payment obligations. The application captures any primary insurance payments that do not match the expected reimbursement and can automatically generate a letter of appeal upon request.

The program was created in a user-friendly GUI (graphical user interface) format to make it accessible to all levels of office personnel.
